Anthony Michael was born on September 14, 1999, in Rapid City, South Dakota. He is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Anthony’s favorite memory while attending St. Joseph’s was the Explorers trip to watch the Rockies play in Denver when he was in the seventh grade. His favorite memory in St. Joseph’s homes is Friday night pizza and many walks downtown with the guys and his houseparent Tony. After high school, Anthony plans to attend a technical school and learn to be a carpenter.


Krista Love
Krista Love

Krista Love was born on September 7, 1999, in Chamberlain, South Dakota. She is a member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. Krista’s favorite memory in the home was when the whole home had a cake fight on her birthday. Krista’s future dreams and plans include graduating high school and going into the Army. Then she would like to attend medical school in South Dakota to be a pediatrician.

Jay Michael was born on December 28, 1999, in Rapid City, South Dakota. He belongs to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Jay’s favorite memory while attending St. Joseph’s is when his brother, Bryan, did his happy dance!! Jay plans on going to Chamberlain High School and eventually become a combat engineer.


Jean Marie
Jean Marie

Jean Marie was born on February 3, 2000, in Chamberlain, South Dakota. She is a member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. Jean’s favorite memory while attending school at St. Joseph’s is going to the Dakota 38+2 kick off. Her favorite part was seeing her uncles participate. Jean’s favorite home memory is going to the Life Light concert with the Mathias Home in sixth grade. Jean’s future plans include finishing high school and then going to college to take medical classes and become a nurse or doctor.


Craig Lamarr
Craig Lamarr

Craig Lamarr was born on November 18, 1999, in Mitchell, South Dakota. He is a member of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. Craig’s favorite school memories are the times he spent in Craig B’s classroom. His favorite home memory occurred when he was in the third grade in the Dennis Home when Trenton dressed up like a grandma for Halloween. Then the fire alarm went off and Trenton had to run down the stairs and outside in high heels and a dress! After eighth grade, Craig’s plan is to attend high school and earn his diploma. He would like to attend college after that.

Raquel Blossom Rose was born on December 14, 1999, in Rapid City, South Dakota. She is a member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe. Raquel’s favorite memories while attending St. Joseph’s were hanging out with her friends. She also enjoyed attending the Mr. Relay for Life Pagaent and seeing the good and not so good talent. Raquel’s future dreams and plans include graduating high school and going to college. She would like to attend the University of Notre Dame and become a pediatrician.

Helena Rae

Helena Rae was born on December 1, 1998, in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. She is a member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Her favorite memory from St. Joseph’s is the Stevens Home trip to Rapid City. She had fun shopping, going to Watiki Water Park and the Badlands, and getting to see her family in Rapid City. Helena’s future plans include going to Chamberlain High School and then joining the military.


Reyna Ramos
Reyna Ramos

Reyna Ramos was born on January 11, 2000, in Sioux City, Iowa. She belongs to the Yankton Sioux Tribe. Reyna’s favorite St. Joseph’s memories include having good teachers and, on Crazy Hair Day, making her hair really crazy!! Her favorite home memories include having a pillow fight with the girls and also having a bonfire by the Missouri River. Reyna’s future plans include attending Chamberlain High School, going to college, and getting a job doing something with kids.

Chandler Ellen Rose was born on November 19, 1999, in Rapid City, South Dakota. She is a member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Chandler’s favorite memory was going on a Donor Luncheon trip to Chicago. Her favorite part of the trip was seeing the Buckingham Fountain — the lights were so pretty — and the University of Notre Dame campus. Chandler plans on graduating high school and attending college to become a nurse.

Keaytan Jae Alexander was born on December 23, 1999, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is a member of the Yankton Sioux Tribe. Keaytan’s favorite memories were the times spent in Scott’s office, his Family Service Counselor. His favorite home memory was playing outside with the seventh and eighth graders when he was in sixth grade. After graduation, Keaytan plans to attend high school and then college.


Hope Analeece
Hope Analeece

Hope Analeece was born on April 26, 2000, in Yankton, South Dakota. She belongs to the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Hope’s favorite school memory happened when she was in seventh grade—the power went out and she was scared to use the bathroom because it looked like a serial killer movie! Also in seventh grade on the home trip, Hope drank some of Daisy’s cappuccino, which had a lot of caffeine in it—she started climbing and crawling around the car!! Hope’s future dreams and plans include graduating from high school, going to college in California or Indiana to study music. She would like to become a music director.

Kayla Rae was born on December 15, 1999, in Valentine, Nebraska. She is a member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Kayla’s favorite memory is the seventh grade cultural trip. Kayla’s future dreams and plans include getting her high school diploma, going to college at South Dakota State University and getting both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. Kayla would like to become a Child and Youth Worker.

Caden Dain was born on June 6, 1999, in Chamberlain, South Dakota. He is a member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. Caden’s favorite school memory is finally understanding algebra!! His favorite home memory is game night with Luke in the Ambrose Home. Caden’s future dreams and plans include attending Chamberlain High School, graduating, and then go on to Kentucky to play basketball for the Wildcats.

Laslie Layare was born on December 10, 1999, in Pierre, South Dakota. She belongs to the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe. Laslie’s favorite school memory while attending St. Joseph’s is going to a movie because the staff had a meeting. The eighth grade boys were singing “The Climb” by Miley Cyrus on their way to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Her favorite home memory is the Pinger Home trip to Rapid City when she was in sixth grade. They went to Watiki Water Park and to Flags and Wheels. Laslie’s future plans are to graduate from high school and attend college. She would like to attend the University of California-Los Angeles. Laslie dreams of going to the WNBA and is still considering other careers.

Trenton Kade was born on August 7, 2000, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He is a member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. Trenton’s favorite memory while attending St. Joseph’s is being in Craig B’s class. Craig made learning fun and it was always fun to see Craig rap. Trenton’s favorite home memory is when he did the ostrich dance in the upstairs hallway after bedtime and it was caught on camera!! Trenton plans to attend Chamberlain High School as part of St. Joseph’s High School program. After high school, Trenton would like to join the military and serve his country like his sister, Taylor.


Freedom Alicia

Freedom Alicia was born on May 5, 1999, in Sedalia, Missouri. She is a member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. Freedom’s favorite home memory is when the home was in the gym and Ethan was in the weight room. Ethan was lifting weights on the machine and when he went down, he got stuck and someone had to help him! Freedom would like to graduate from high school and then go to college. She plans to move off the reservation and become a nurse, cop or detective.

Ethan Terrance was born on August 3, 2000, in Valentine, Nebraska. He is a member of the Ponca Tribe. Ethan’s favorite home memory is when he was working out at the Rec Center and Bryan split his pants while exercising. Ethan’s future dreams and plans include graduating from eighth grade and attending Chamberlain High School as part of the St. Joseph’s Indian School High School program. After high school, Ethan would like to attend technical school to become a mechanic.
