One of our students’ very favorite things at St. Joseph’s Indian School is our indoor pool! Even during the cold winter months, our students are able to swim, stay active and use their energy in a good way.
We feel blessed to be able to provide the pool for our students’ use. Living on the Missouri River, we feel it is imperative to teach all of our students to swim — a skill that could save their lives!
In addition to being used throughout the year, our swimming pool is also used during the summer months for our Rising Eagle Day Camp.
Many of the students who attend school and our summer camp do not own swimwear of their own. In the past, we have been fortunate enough to provide swimwear to any student who needs it.
Unfortunately, we are running extremely low on swimwear — so much so that we will not be able to provide swimwear to our summer camp participants in June nor our students when they return to campus next August.
Will you help us meet this need?
