Celia and Martina have been matched for the past 10 years!

Children Count, St. Joseph’s mentor program, pairs employees with students to give opportunities to spend quality time outside normal classroom and home activities.

Celia, Residential Coordinator, has been matched with her mentee, Martina, for the past 10 years. They have walked through elementary, middle and high school together. They enjoy spending time with one another!

Sherry, Family Service Counselor, mentors a sibling group.

"The most memorable experiences usually happen each time we all get together," she explains. "They get along quite well, so the laughter and the stories we share during meals, movies and games are truly moments to remember!" By connecting students to as many good role models as possible, we hope they will develop positive values and relationships. As they grow into adulthood, they will be able to be a good role model themselves.
