Lakota boy celebrates Dr. Seuss' birthday!

St. Joseph’s students joined children across the nation in celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday with Read Across America Day. To make the day extra fun, the Lakota boys and girls wore their pajamas to school!

At the end of the school day, everyone found a cozy spot in the hallway to share reading time. Older students partnered with younger students, sharing a story and helping the little ones work on their reading skills.

The National Education Association’s Read Across America Day is celebrated annually.
