Why You Should Help
The four-year high school graduation rate for Native American students in South Dakota is 45%. However, at St. Joseph's Indian School, Native American students are beating the odds and graduating at a rate of 96%.
Education is the key for Native American youth to break the cycle of unemployment and poverty.
But there is hope for the young people who are struggling ... St. Joseph’s Indian School. Since 1927 we have been serving the educational and spiritual needs of Lakota children. Through family-style group living and emphasis on cultural development, we provide for every need of our nearly 200 students ... all at no cost to them or their families.
